What happens when a leading employer with multiple brands wants to revamp its recruitment process—making it smarter, more scalable, and more people-oriented? Everything in one platform, for multiple brands.
Pon approached us with a two-fold challenge. On the one hand, they wanted a future-proof implementation of the new ATS system, Tellent Recruitee, across multiple brands. This move also involved a deliberate transition from the existing Talentsoft system to Recruitee, through which Pon opted for greater ease of use, flexibility, and scalability in the recruitment process.
On the other hand, there was a desire to bring together the scattered job listings on a single, user-friendly platform:https://jobsatpon.com/.
From fragmented to connected
The technical complexity lay in the fact that Pon works with multiple unique Recruitee environments, each tailored to a specific label with its own processes. At the same time, the new platform had to continue to seamlessly support Recruitee's dynamic application forms.
Furthermore, privacy and GDPR compliance were crucial pillars of the project. Pon aimed to harmonize data processes across all labels—a prerequisite for scalable, secure growth in recruitment.
A flexible framework for various OpCos
Together with the project team, we developed the Pon Framework: a strategic foundation for a consistent design of Tellent Recruitee. Based on this framework, we entered into discussions with each OpCo (Operational Company) to design the system according to their specific preferences and processes.
Each OpCo—from bicycles to premium automotive—was given its own strategic implementation. Although they are part of the same group, their daily realities and recruitment approaches differ greatly. A single fixed template would not do justice to those differences.
Bringing job vacancies together on a single platform
At the same time, we developed the new jobsatpon.com platform using our proprietary technology: Matchlab Bridge. This platform brings together all of Pon’s job openings in a single, user-friendly job portal, with filters for brand, position, and location. This gives candidates a clear overview and freedom of choice, without a fragmented experience.
Phased implementation per label
The implementation was carried out in phases. For the entire group, the process took around six months, with a lead time of four to six weeks per OpCo. This allowed teams to tailor the rollout to their own schedules and available resources.
A future-proof recruitment process
The result is a scalable recruitment structure in which everyone within the hiring team—from recruiters to hiring managers and HR—works from a single system. This means real-time insight, faster collaboration, and less noise.
The administrative burden has been reduced by 40%. Thanks to Recruitee's smart design and central platform, there is less manual work, less email traffic, and more control over progress.
Candidates also benefit significantly:
- Lead times are shorter
- Application forms adapt intelligently to the type of position
- Candidates receive interim updates, ensuring a clear and positive experience.
These improvements not only ensure faster placements, but also strengthen the employer image of the Pon brands – from A-Point to Urban Arrow.
What makes this case unique
The complexity is precisely what made this case so valuable. We built on a shared framework, but left sufficient room for the individual wishes of the OpCos. Thanks to this customization, no label has become cookie-cutter—and yet there is still a common, professional standard.
This case proves that scalability and customization can go hand in hand—provided that the structure is right and the human factor remains paramount.
